Young delegates criticize world leaders for using private jets

The young delegates of climate change all over the world have been taking part in a protest in a collaborative manner against the powerful and rich and have been camping in the cold temperatures at the WEF (World Economic Forum).

The get-together which takes place annually in January has been criticized a lot of times for being out of sync with the reality has been set to welcome over 3,000 participants in the week with the ones in attendance looking to focus on the climate change crisis that is intensifying.

It is following the hottest year for the oceans of the world, the year which is second-hottest for the average temperature globally as well as the wildfires form United States to the fires which happened in Australia and Amazon.

A lot of the policymakers as well as leaders have been expected to come to and from Davos through private jets in the year and there are those who are camping in the town.

A climate activist belonging to Uganda, Vanessa Nakate said that they were only trying to show them the activists had been doing the right thing in spite of the fact that they were not sleeping or staying in the best of conditions. While the leaders enjoy their flights, they must know that there are people who are right now living in the conditions which are a lot worse.

Nakate has said that they were representing practically the people who had already faced the impacts of the climate crisis and it was time to step out of the comfort zones.

Six of the delegates have made a decision of staying at Davos this year and there are two more who are helping this crew.
